Air Mobility Command Museum
About
The mission of the Air Mobility Command Museum, located at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Delaware, is to collect, preserve, and exhibit artifacts and human stories significant to the development and employment of military airlift and air refueling in the United States Air Force (USAF) and the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF). Additionally, the museum aims to portray the rich history of Dover Air Force Base and its predecessor, Dover Army Airfield. This is accomplished through educational exhibits, community outreach, representative vintage aircraft, personal interaction, and multimedia presentations, making the history of airlift, air refueling, and the base accessible and engaging to both civilians and military personnel to foster appreciation for their contributions to the nation.
